Marlow recognized by county fair (HMB Review)

This year’s San Mateo County Fair Fine Arts Department has given Coastside resident Randie Marlow four First Place and two Third Place awards for photography.

Marlow swept the awards sponsored by the San Mateo County Convention and Visitors’ Bureau in all three categories, taking a blue ribbon for Coastside, Bay Area and Bayside shots.

My name is Randie Marlow, and I was born in San Luis Obispo and raised the San Diego , I knew the Bay Area would be my home after my first visit in 1969. I express the love I have for the coast through the images I display on my website and through photography shows.

I began my work with cameras as a model, and grew interested in the dynamics of an excellent picture. I soon found photographers taking my advice on photographing me using light and shadows suggested.
