Marlow
I
was born in San Luis Obispo and raised in San Diego.
I fell in love with the Bay Area on my first visit in
1969. I knew then that this would become my home
and have been a resident of the coastside for the past
18 years.
Starting out on the other side of the camera as a model,
I grew interested in what it took to take a good picture.
I learned how to guide the photographer to achieve the
light and shadow that would become me.
Now, as an award-winning photographer and designer,
I have completed training for Graphic Design and Web
Design.
Among many other projects, I have enjoyed creating posters
for Half Moon Bay’s Theater Troup, This Side of
The Hill Players, now called Coastside Repratory Theater.
"One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest", "To
Kill A Mockingbird" and "Cabaret" are
the first of many, I hope, to come.
Music CD covers in my portfolio include Diane Burns
and Mo Robinson’s "Easy Avenue", TJ
Moore Blues Band’s "Closing Time",
Big Dog and the Bite’s "Running with the
Pack" and Barbara
Anderson’s "Mama Said" new CD release.
I
have served on the board of the Coastal Arts League
for the past five years as publicity chair and also
handle scheduling shows and designing all ads and promotional
literature.
My love of the coast is evident by the images I display
in my shows
and on my website.
I feel so fortunate to have discovered my calling in
this life.
